Our Story

First, there was the internet

They met in April of 2020 when they both happened upon each other on Tinder. Dalton swiped first, and Meranda was taken by his bio. He discussed wanting to watch the Red Pandas at the zoo. Naturally, she loves a good zoo trip, and let's face it... Dalton is pretty handsome!! After going through the rest of his photos, Meranda had to swipe right. There was a dog!!! His way of starting a conversation?? "How do you take your cat for a hike?"

Then, there was the character building

After meeting at the river, and walking Tango and Toby, they knew there was something between them. They met more often and got to know each other deeper; realizing there was a lot they had in common: their love of animals, their commitment to themselves and their families, and their desire to share themselves with someone who deserved it. They learned a lot about themselves, as well as each other, while they got to know each other. And let's face it, a partner you can learn with is a partner you will stay with.

Next, there was love

The longer they spent together, the more they began to realize they are cut from the same clothe. They joke similarly, they act similarly, and they love similarly. Dalton said "I love you" first. But Meranda thought it first. Many people, upon meeting the couple, noted that they were exactly like the other. Work friends would mention it when they went out, family would mention it at gathering. It is meant to be.

Finally, there was a wedding

Dalton decided in July 2022, that it was finally time to ask Meranda to marry him. He chose to do it on a Jester family vacation while they were getting family photos done. The moment is caught for everyone to see. These photos are treasured by Meranda, and she looks at them often. It took a while to plan for, but it is almost time!! Please come celebrate the love and union of Dalton and Meranda!!
